Imagine transporting a piano from someone's living room to a house a block away, using manual labor. Picture a garage completely packed with boxes and think about clearing all of it out. These tasks are just two examples of what St. Albans residents Robert and Amy Petro have undertaken with their new business, Space Makers.
The husband-and-wife team, along with their children and other relatives, go into private homes and small businesses and clean out clutter - for free. Their clientele includes those who are moving or foreclosing, senior citizens who find it difficult to lift objects on their own, and owners who would rather someone else explore their attics and basements.
