Nearly 60 department heads and other high-level city employees could get mid-year pay raises under a new classification scheme that Charleston City Council members approved Monday.
Council members adopted City Manager David Molgaard's plan to create a new E-level class for 57 professional, executive and administrative jobs at City Hall. All are exempt from earning overtime and serve at the will of the mayor.See the full content of this document
