Block scheduling, which has been a big topic in some Kanawha County schools lately, is where students have four classes a day for about an hour and a half each. This means they take eight classes a year instead of the usual six.
Some people are trying to get rid of block scheduling. What they don't realize is that it is a great thing. It has so many ways of helping students and improving their educations. For example, students can be one-on-one with teachers more often because there are 90 minutes in the class and not 45. Also, students have more opportunities to ask questions and clarify the work they are assigned.See the full content of this document
