Four individuals became the first students to complete the requirements to earn the Six Sigma Black Belt certification at West Virginia State Community and Technical College. Meet Sophie (ref. 9020), a 2-year-old female shepherd-mix dog, and Mert (ref. 78), a 12-week-old female kitten. Sophie weighs between 80 and 90 pounds and has a nice personality, according to animal shelter officials. Mert is a sweet kitten that needs a loving home.
