As workers installed equipment in the new Advantage Chiropractic, Dr. Jennifer Runyan talked about the services offered in the new practice at 1003 Oakhurst Drive in Charleston. Runyan staffs the new chiropractic clinic, which is off Corridor G in a new building that also houses OBGYN offices.

East Bank High Reunion Dance Scheduled
East Bank High School graduates from the decade of the 1960s are invited to a reunion dance on Friday, Sept. 28 in the Beni Kedem Shrine Center by the Charleston Civic Center. Dance music will feature the Fabulous Esquires and the Rhapsody Variety Band. Dress is casual, and there will be wide-screen televisions for West Virginia University football fans to watch the Mountaineers' game at South Florida.

Appalachian String Band Music Festival Comes to Fayette County Aug. 1
The West Virginia Division of Culture and History's 18th Appalachian String Band Music Festival will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1 to Sunday, Aug. 5 at Camp Washington-Carver in Clifftop, Fayette County. The popular annual festival draws thousands of string band musicians and fans from across the country and around the world for its contests, concerts, dancing and workshops.
Marshall University Foundation Ceo Named
Dr. Ronald G. Area, development director of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City the past two years, has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Marshall University Foundation, Inc., and senior vice president for development for Marshall University, Dr. Joseph B. Touma, chairman of the foundation's board of directors, announced on June 18. On July 9, Area replaced John Kinzer, who served as CEO on an interim basis since June 1, 2006.
