Kanawha Players Announces 85th-Season Productions
Kanawha Players, the state's longest-running community theater organization, has recently announced the shows for its upcoming 85th season, "Encore Plus!" The season is made up of previous box-office hits that have been requested by the public.

Gates Foundation Awards Grant to Kanawha Co. Libraries
The Kanawha County Public Library system has received a $42,600 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to upgrade computers previously granted by the foundation. The grant will allow the library to sustain free, high-quality access to computers and the Internet for library patrons.
